Man Camp

This Fathers Day weekend invite your sons, brothers, uncles, dads and friends to Man Camp! Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or a first-time camper, this two-night camping trip is the perfect opportunity to get away and reconnect with nature, with other men, and with God.
 

Start: Friday 5th September - 4pm

End: Sunday 7th September - 2pm

Where: Sheepyard Flat, Brocks Rd, Howqua Hills VIC
 

Who can come: Man Camp is for all men, young and more mature.
If bringing your kids we recommend they be of kinder age or above. 

What to expect: Campfire, kicking a footy, chatting, card games, Bush Church, fishing, hiking, cricket and more

Man Camp is intended to be a casual, self-sufficient style camping event with a focus on mateship and discipleship. Sunday morning will include a short Bush Church service. This is not a catered event, and accommodation is not provided; please see our recommended gear list below. Not set up for camping yourself? Don't let that stop you! Chat with Ps Jono and he can help organise kit sharing. There will be minimal structured activities, allowing you to come and go as required. Can't make it for both nights? Just come for one, or just for a day.
 

Cost: Man Camp is a FREE event, but registrations are essential.
 

Please note: Due to the nature of the planned location, there may be a necessary changes or relocation due to inclimate weather/road closures. We will be in contact with alternative information should this occur.

Recommended Gear list:
 - Tent/swag/camper/trailer
 - Sleeping bag/blankets & pillow
 - Camp chair and table
 - Food and drinks (note: this is an alcohol-free event)
 - Cooking equipment: camp stove & fuel, pot/pan, utensils, cutting board, knives
 - Mess kit: plates, cups, bowls, cutlery
 - Other: washing up equipment, rubbish bags
 - Bug spray & sunscreen
 - Camp shower or wash station
 - Sports equipment or favourite camp activity
 

Additional notes:
 - location is equipped with toilets, but no showers
 - all rubbish must be taken with you when you leave
 - a first aid kit will be on site, but having a personal kit is recommended
